Friday 25th of November 2011
Insight4 is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract to deliver the new Tasmanian Housing Register (THR) platform for the Department of Health and Human Services, Housing Tasmania business unit.
Utilising Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 platform, Insight4 will deliver a highly agile solution to improve the way in which Housing Tasmania and NGO social housing providers manage the social housing waiting list in Tasmania and the allocation of social housing properties.
The solution will deliver NGO social housing providers a central repository to search and allocate houses based on highly flexible eligibility and prioritisation criteria, and streamline numerous business processes enabling social housing providers to efficiently allocate properties. This will ultimately streamline the allocation process and reduce the waiting time for applicants.

Insight4 Wins TasICT 2010 Customer Success Story Award
Tuesday 30th of November 2010
Insight4 has been successful in winning the TasICT 2010 Customer Success Story Award, announced at the Industry Awards night on 19 Nov 2010. The award was given for the design, implementation and support of the project management platform used by the Tasmanian Department of Education (DoE) to manage the Building Education Revolution (BER) program over 2009-2010.
Insight4 was able to rapidly deliver an innovative, flexible and cost effective solution through the customisation of Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Dynamics CRM was selected for its powerful out of the box capabilities and speed of customisation to achieve a 'best fit' solution for the rapidly evolving project.
"The project has provided Insight4 with an excellent opportunity to highlight the true value we deliver to all of our clients, even in the least ideal scenarios. This was a rapidly evolving project, with considerable changes over time due to Federal and State governance and reporting. Insight4's commitment to the project and ongoing partnership with DoE was proven by the creation of a working prototype within only 3 working weeks and the successful implementation of the system within 5 working weeks." - Jared Hill, Insight4 Managing Director
"Tasmania has publicly been identified as one of the top performing States with regard to the BER project in terms of project reporting, economic value and prosperity delivered through the initiative. To assist in delivering these benefits is a testament to the team Insight4 and our commitment to the Australian education sector."

Insight4 Joins Education SIF Group
Monday 25th of October 2010
Insight4 is pleased to announce that it has become the very first Australian SIF Association member, demonstrating Insight4's commitment to data interoperability standards, research and development and the Australian Education sector.
Read the press release
The Systems Interoperability Framework (SIF) provides a common platform for the transfer of data in educational settings. Widely adopted in the US and UK, in early 2009 Australia's State and Territory Education Jurisdictions, with funding from the Federal Government's Digital Education Revolution initiative, agreed to trial the adoption of SIF in Australia. During 2009 and 2010, all State and Territory Education Jurisdictions, in conjunction with Independent and Catholic counterparts, conducted a range of pilot projects, with the end result being the release of the SIF AU 1.0 specification in November 2010.
While originally engaged in the first SIF AU pilots in early 2010, Insight4 has significantly grown its commitment to SIF AU since the initiative commenced. In addition to becoming the first SIF AU member, Insight4 is also a member of the SIF AU Data Standards Working Group and the SIF Global Identity Management Taskforce, collaborating with US and UK counterparts to drive the common SIF data model forward.

Insight4 Presents Atlassian Webinar
Tuesday 14th of September 2010
Insight4's Quality Assurance Team Leader, Jason Imms recently presented a Webinar for the leading issue tracking software company, Atlassian.
The presentation entitled 'Designing Complex JIRA Workflows' addressed Insight4's highly successful approach to designing, implementing and managing staff adoption of workflows into existing business processes. The webinar also addressed the high level benefits to be gained from both the business and client perspective.
Watch the webinar on Complex JIRA Workflows
Jason says "without workflows people are much more likely to lose track of important tasks, they also experience increased levels of project ambiguity, resulting in frustration. The introduction of effective workflows prevents these issues from occurring by enabling all tasks to be easily recorded, viewed and tracked to achieve greater project visibility. This increases confidence levels for all project stakeholders, especially clients' projects, as clients can see a proven project methodology, offering them peace of mind"
