Key Management
Ian Cumming, Managing Director
Ian has over 9 years experience in software development and consultancy, and has a broad range of skills including software development, systems architecture, administration, network security and consultancy. In 2006 Ian received the Tasmanian Pearcey Award for Young Achievers at the Tasmanian ICT Awards, recognising his entrepreneurial and technical achievements as Managing Director of Insight4. Ian was shortlisted for the national awards in 2007.
Jared Hill, Senior Project Manager / Director
Jared has 9 years wide ranging experience in software architecture, development, deployment and management for both private and open market software. His recent consultancy experience includes enterprise databases and datasets, legacy application migrations, and script and high level language development. Jared is Insight4's project management chief, and is in charge of implementing Insight4's software design and project management procedures.
Scott Brownell, Non-Executive Director
Scott brings more than 20 years of IT experience to Insight4's board, with a depth of experience running successful IT companies in Victoria and Tasmania. Scott is currently a Business Manager at In-tellinc, providing guidance and support for a number of IT companies. Previous to this role, Scott was the Product Manager and Operations Director for one of the largest IT companies in Tasmania, controlling turnover in excess of $15 million per annum.
Mike Nermut, Non-Executive Director
Well known and respected within the Tasmanian ICT Community, Mike is a co-founder of UXC Applications Development (formerly Dytech Solutions) and chairman of the Dytech spin off company, The Learning Edge. Mike brings over 12 years of experience in the development and delivery of enterprise solutions, particularly in the education and eLearning fields. Mike is currently a member of the Skills Tasmania board, and has formally held positions on the board of NetAlert, the Australian Federal Government Internet child safety association, the Intelligent Island Board and he has sat as the Chairman of the Tasmanian IT Industry Council.
