Insight4 has released ScribbleShare, a collaborative drawing application for the iPhone, on the the Apple iTunes Store this week.
ScribbleShare is a collaborative drawing application which utilises the touch functions of the iPhone to enable quick and easy sketching onto a shared canvas with multiple users. Within only a few days ScribbleShare has been downloaded by over ten thousand customers world-wide and is currently in the Top 10 Business Applications on the iTunes store.
The application was developed by final year students at the University of Tasmania as part of the School of Computing course. Insight4's sponsorship of student projects highlights its strong connection with the University and is a key component of the company's graduate placement program.
Insight4 was the only company to offer an iPhone project to students in the Software Project course, and the success of the project illustrates Insight4's forward thinking vision and innovation within the Tasmanian ICT industry. The project has also created employment for a number of the team members, and direct employment with Insight4 for one member of the project team, Jay Rapson.
